LOAD and wallets
The game token, your wallet, and the network you are using.
What LOAD does
LOAD is the game's token. Farming pays rewards in LOAD, and paid furniture purchases use LOAD. Certain collectible experiences also use it where those features are enabled.
A LOAD balance, a farming position, and a furniture item are different things. Depositing tokens does not buy furniture, and placing furniture does not create a farm position.
Use the right network

Let the game request its configured network. Check the chain ID before confirming. The private developer network is separate; its balances will not appear on public devnet.
Understand wallet prompts
- Connect
- Lets the game see your selected public address.
- Sign in
- Proves that you control that address for wallet-owned game features. Read the message before signing.
- Approve
- Allows the displayed contract to spend the specified token allowance.
- Confirm transaction
- Submits an action such as a deposit or purchase. Check the network, amount, and recipient or contract.
An approval is not a completed purchase or deposit. Wait for the action's transaction receipt before trying again. You also need test ETH for gas.
If your balance is empty
Check the selected wallet and chain first. Connecting a wallet does not promise a grant of test tokens. If you have not received playtest assets, you can still explore the city and try the free arcade.
